It's hot, hot, hot out there and this matcha mule recipe is set to keep you cool. It is a non-alcoholic take on the classic Moscow mule, perfect for long summer nights and Wimbledon viewing
Ingredients
1 teaspoon matcha
100ml ginger beer
100ml tonic or soda water
1 lime
Sprig of mint
Ice
Method
1. Squeeze 3 quarters of a lime into a glass and add the ice.
2. Add the soda water and ginger beer.
3. Make up a matcha paste by add a little water to a teaspoon of matcha and mixing or whisking to a paste.
4. Add the matcha to the glass, with a wedge of lime and a sprig of mint. Enjoy!
